About G-One Computers — Your Local PC Shop in Camperdown, Sydney

G-One Computers started the way a lot of good PC shops should but rarely do: with people who were already doing the work. Before G-One existed, each of us was building rigs, fixing machines and selling parts independently — sole traders juggling university and a steady stream of friends, classmates and word-of-mouth customers who needed an honest PC person.

In April 2025 we joined forces and made it official. Our first market was the one we knew best: international and domestic uni students in Sydney — people who needed real performance for a fair price, straight answers instead of upsells, and someone local to call when something went wrong. That's still exactly who we are, just bigger.

From a storage unit to a Camperdown warehouse

We spent our first year operating out of a storage unit in Ultimo, stocking parts and handing over builds. By June 2026 we'd outgrown it and moved into our current warehouse and storefront in Camperdown — more stock, more build benches, same approach. We've been an official “Powered by MSI” partner since we launched.

Big national retailers can match anyone on catalogue size. What they can't do is what our 4.9★, 330+ Google reviews keep describing: builds assembled and tested within hours of a phone call, honest advice on which specs you actually need (and which you don't), small problems diagnosed and fixed on the spot — sometimes free when it turns out to be a loose RAM stick — faulty parts swapped over the counter instead of weeks in a manufacturer's RMA queue, and staff who've been known to stay back after close to get someone's PC sorted. Every build that leaves our store is cable-managed, thermal-tested and stress-tested by hand, and covered by a 3-year return-to-base warranty.

What we sell and do

Prebuilt ready-to-go gaming PCs, fully custom builds, PC parts (price-matched — buying local shouldn't cost more), monitors, laptops, peripherals and gaming furniture, plus repairs and upgrades in the workshop.
